LoveBean Fudge

Don’t you want to feel good about eating chocolate? This super healthy chocolate is all organic, vegan, and delicious! LoveBean creates simple vegan fudge – or chocolate bars in a jar. There are two classics flavours: Essentially Raw and Original Coconut.

The Essentially Raw flavour has 4 ingredients in it: Organic Extra Virgin Coconut Oil, Organic Coconut Nectar, Organic Cacao Powder, and Organic Vanilla Bean Powder.

The Original Coconut flavour only has 4 ingredients as well, although it is not raw: Organic Evaporated Coconut Palm Nectar, Organic Extra Virgin Coconut Oil, Organic Coconut Milk (Water, Organic Dehydrated Coconut Flakes) Organic Cacao Powder.

My personal favourite is the raw fudge – although I am a huge fan of both flavours. The raw one is thicker in consistency and the coconut one is creamier due to the coconut milk. If you are unsure which one to try, they have squeeze packs for $1.99 each. The packs are great for sampling the product, and if you like it, then they are also super convenient if you are on the go – at work for a snack on some fruit, in your kid’s bento box, on a hike, or in a picnic basket. This is an incredibly versatile spread, for example, check out these chocolate covered strawberries I made using them..

One unique thing about this company is that they use cacao in their chocolate instead of cocoa. Cacao is the superfood that cocoa powder is created from. The cocoa you typically buy in the store was once nutrient-rich cacao, but it was put through very heavy cooking and chemical processing that destroyed its nutritious properties. This treatment of cocoa is called Dutch processing, and the reason this is such a widespread method of processing is because it takes the bitterness away – unfortunately at a the cost of its health-benefiting properties. Another great thing about this product is that they use coconut oil in it – so you can get your MCT fats in a delicious fashion. 🙂
